He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Arthur and Lois Thome (Mason); and his siblings, Art Thome, Jack Thome and Carolyn Hart.
He is survived by: his spouse Joyce Joanne Gilmore; his children, Chuck Thome (Jada) of Farmington, Randy Thome (Teri) of Washington, Lori Larson (Frank) of Farmington, Jennifer Ellis (Johnny) of Peoria and James Thome (Andrea) of Burr Ridge, Illinois; and his sister Sherry Diegel of Pekin. He is also survived by sixteen grandchildren and seventeen great grandchildren.
