He was predeceased by: his parents, John Brennan and Helen Brennan; and his sisters, Emmie Hope and Marilyn Guthrie. He is survived by: his wife Fran Brennan; his daughter Michelle Brennan; his grandson Aaron Beegle; his brother Jack Brennan; and his sisters-in-law, Rosie Cady, Madeline, Aunt Tom and Keenan. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established in William's name.
