He is survived by: his wife Bonita Ruder (Jouris); his children, Christi Kundrat, Debbie Sterna (Rick), David Ruder (Julie), Lisa Curatti (Steve) and Matthew Ruder (Renee); his grandchildren, Sean Conner (Angel), Margaret Meyer (Bob), Samantha Albert, Steven Piscione (Missy), Peter Piscione (Amanda), Alyson Ruder (Wes Wieciech), Aaron Ruder (Darby Bend), Kellie Ruder (Matt Fabrizius), Nicole Curatti (Justin Crop), Michael Curatti, Jacob Ruder and Tyson Ruder; his great grandchildren, Amber, Timothy, Elizabeth Conner, Randee Lisak, Bradlee, Michael, Nicolas, Kerygan, Conner Meyer, Mason, Missy Albert, Leo Piscione, Hannah Wieciech and Paxton Ruder; his siblings, Roseanne Penter, Mary Shannon and Leo Ruder (Arlis); and his siblings-in-law, Glee Ruder, Frank Jouris (Katherine), Theodore Jouris (Christine) and Rebecca Bend (Robert). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
