He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth Cast and Geneva Cast; and his brothers, Jim, Jerry and Randy Cast.

He is survived by: his wife Janet Cast; and his children, Kent Cast (Susan), Kenneth Cast (Tiffany), Kevin Cast (Chasity), Jason Cast (Mary), Randy Cast (Jessica Hafner), Jim Wischnowski (Jamie), Kimberly Oakley (Justin) and Crystal Pak (Thomas). He is also survived by sixteen grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the wishes of the family.
