He was predeceased by: his parents, Isadore Bertrand and Norma Bertrand (Swanson); his siblings, Patricia Salrin, Virgil Bertrand and Kenneth Bertrand; and his brother-in-law Raymond Blanchette.
He is survived by: his wife Karen Bertrand of Manteno; and his siblings, Darrell Bertrand (Kay) of Kentland, IN, Mary Lou Paquette of Louisville, KY, Linda Blanchette of Manteno and Denise Orth (Steven) of Manteno. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
