He was predeceased by: his parents, Cornelius Paarlberg and Mary Paarlberg (Veld) of South Holland, IL.; and his sister Caryl. He is survived by: his wife Margene Huizenga; his children, Gary (Janet) of Bradley, IL, Bruce (Cheryl) of Manteno, IL, Marcia Davault (Ron) of Bargersville, IN, Linda Dick (Virgil) of Whitehall, WI and Kevin of Sycamore, IL; his grandchildren, Scott Paarlberg, Michael Paarlberg, Kristin Dykstra (Scott), Jason Paarlberg (Amanda), Becky Throckmorton (Kaleb), Brian Davault (Brittany), Julie Dick, Aaron Dekker and Brandon Dick; his great grandchildren, Cohen, Jaiden and Adylee Dykstra; and his siblings-in-law, Louise Huizenga, Henry Huizenga, Marie Biejes, Joyce Kerssies (John) and Jacque Vander Slik (Terry). He is also survived by 21 nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, March 28th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, March 29th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Manteno Church of the Nazarene (698 N Locust St, Manteno, IL 60950). A funeral service was held on Saturday, March 29th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to the Bible League International in Crete, IL (bibleleague.org).
