He was predeceased by: his parents, Isadore Bertrand and Nora Mae Bertrand (Swanson); his siblings, Patricia Salrin and Virgil Bertrand; and his brother-in-law Raymond Blanchette.
He is survived by: his wife Eloise Bertrand of Manteno; his sons, Steven Bertrand (Sharon) of Deerfield and Scott Bertrand (Kristi) of Manteno; his grandchildren, Logan, Emma, Lily, Easton and Braelyn; his siblings, Darrell Bertrand (Kay) of Kentland, IN, Ray Bertrand (Karen) of Manteno, Mary Lou Paquette of Louisville, KY, Linda Blanchette of Manteno and Denise Orth (Steven) of Manteno; and his siblings-in-law, Donna Bertrand and Robert Gordon (Janice). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
