He was predeceased by: his parents, George Herman Sr. and Lena Hayward (Logan); his grandson Jackson Hayward; and his sisters, Shirley Stachniak (Raymond) and Marilyn Krafthefer (Richard).
He is survived by: his wife Theresa Hayward; his children, Pamela Hayward and George Hayward (Ursula); and his grandchildren, Logan Hayward (Julie), Wilson Hayward and Lillian Prescott (Joseph). He is also survived by three great-grandchildren.
