It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Dorothy G. Lafond of Manteno, Illinois, born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on December 18, 2022, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Gail Lafond; and her daughter Debbie Lafond. She is survived by: her children, David (Catherine Lafond), Mark Lafond (Donna Hess), Kirk Lafond of Corona, CA and Lori; and her son-in-law Verne LaMore of Manteno. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

Memorials may be made for masses or the Manteno American Legion.
