She was predeceased by: her parents, William Lohmann and Selma Lohmann (Bruns); her husband Dale Metzger; and her siblings, Marcella Wolff, Lucille Dykehouse, Paul Lohmann and Harold Lohmann.
She is survived by: her children, Bill Metzger (Rose) of Glenview, Sandy Fuehrmeyer (Mike) of Yorkville and Barb Diehl (Scott) of Mt. Morris; her sister-in-law Sandy Lohmann of Beecher; and her grandchildren, Matt Fuehrmeyer (Elizabeth), Dan Fuehrmeyer (Laura), Lauren Turvey (Kyle), Emily Wetherell (Kyle), Ben Diehl (Emily), Luke Diehl (Lacrisha), Kristen Diehl (Terry Davis), Elizabeth Metzger and Mark Metzger. She is also survived by twelve great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to Zion Lutheran Church or St. Jude Children's Hospital.
