He was predeceased by: his parents, Emil Fatima and Stella Luksas Fatima; and his brother Jerry Fatima. He is survived by: his wife Francine Fatima of Manteno; his children, David J. Fatima of Chicago, Lawrence Fatima (Tonya) of Land, James E. Fatima (Ginger Malone) of Manteno and Felicia Fatima of Manteno; his brothers, Robert Fatima (Pam) of Romeoville and James Fatima (Linda) of Bartlett; and his grandchildren, Zachary, Jason, Faythe, Joshua and Madisen. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
