He is survived by: his wife Karen of Manteno; his son-in-law John Sportiello of Manteno; his daughter Janette Snelson (David) of Manteno; his siblings, Susan Pralle of North Carolina and David Vehrs (Tina) of Lynwood; and his grandchildren, Vanessa Sportiello (Chase Husack) of Manteno and Nolan Snelson of Manteno.
