It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Carol Ann Pflasterer (Manteno, Illinois), born in Hinsdale, Illinois, who passed away on November 27, 2022, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel Wilkins and Laura Wilkins (Anderson); her husband Roger Orlan Pflasterer; and her sister Jeanne Campbell. She is survived by: her children, Scott Lyons (Meizhen Ru), Bob (Debbie Pflasterer), John (Karen Pflasterer), J. P. (Erin Pflasterer) and Lisa Lyons; and her son-in-law Steve Goad. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made to the Manteno Historical Society or the National Park Foundation.
