He was predeceased by: his parents, Elbert Taylor and Dorothy Taylor (Mack); his brother Robert "Bob"; and his sister-in-law Gail Taylor. He is survived by: his son Alan Taylor of Manteno; and his nephews, Brian Taylor and Robert "Bobby" Taylor.

Memorials may be made to the Manteno American Legion Post 755 or Honor Flight Chicago.
