He was predeceased by: his wife Moneta McCleary; his grandson Kevin McCleary; and his siblings, Philip, Robert McCleary, Eva Schmall, Edna Lorig, Nita Garrison, June Orr, Jean Sturts and Fern McCleary.
He is survived by: his children, William P. McCleary (Nancy) of Weldon, Illinois, Patrick S. McCleary (Micki) of Lexington, Illinois and Joy L. Johnson (Greg) of Mansfield, Illinois. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; twenty-one great-grandchildren; and five step-great-grandchildren.
