It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Virginia M. Herriott (Mansfield, Illinois), who passed away on March 22, 2018, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Bruce Bird and Zelma Keith Bird; and her sisters, Clara Lindsey, Frances Spears and Ruth Moles.
She is survived by: her husband Robert Herriott of Mansfield; her stepdaughters, Jan Allen (Randall) of Homer and Sue Hinshaw (Jerry) of Hudson; her grandchildren, Ben Williams (Betsy), Luke Williams (Shannon), Emily Schraeder (Noah), Michael Culbertson, Clayton Dawkins (Gina), Zeb Dawkins (Ashleigh Bachmann), Zac Dawkins, Zara Dawkins (Steve Meadows), Ginny Thomas (Kayl), Thomas Williams (Paige), Lauren Mosley (Jonathon), Anna Lyons (Tyler), Lena Head (Reeder), Cade Hinshaw, Hanna Moody (Matt) and Orin Allen; and also, Dee Slack (Mark) of White Heath, Duane Dawkins (Gaye) of Mount Holly, Rick Dawkins (Lori) of Champaign and Diane Williams (Tom) of Mansfield. She is also survived by great-grandchildren; three step great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Piatt County Nursing Home Foundation, Blue Ridge Township Library, Mansfield, Illinois or to the Northern Piatt Fire Protection District.
