It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Leonard Richard Nichols of Mansfield, Illinois, who passed away on September 14, 2020, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard Nichols and Lucille Nichols. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Ann Staley; his children, Tony Nichols (Mindy) of Mansfield and Tammy Steinkamp (Matt) of Cary, Illinois; his grandchildren, Paige, Sydney Nichols, Bailey and Trey Steinkamp; and his brothers, Don Nichols (Sharon) of Mansfield, Illinois and Ken Nichols (Tara) of Mahomet, Illinois. He is also survived by three nephews.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Carle Cancer Institute Infusion Clinic or the Northern Piatt Fire Protection District.
