He was predeceased by: his parents, George Mason and Evelyn Elaine Stockwell Welch; his son James L. Welch; and his granddaughter Allison Welch. He is survived by: his wife Karen D. Kammeyer of Mansfield, Illinois; his children, Craig Welch (Seleena) of Farmer City, Illinois and Angela Mitchell (Chris) of Mansfield, Illinois; and his half-brothers, Rick Bradbury (Sandra), Gary Bradbury (Deb), Bruce Bradbury and Brian Bradbury (Linda). He is also survived by twelve grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.
