It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Wayne Rasmussen of Manlius, Illinois, born in Kewanee, Illinois, who passed away on September 21, 2024, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Rasmussen and Sylvia Rasmussen (Johnson); his wife Gloria Winkler; his son David Rasmussen; his granddaughter Amber Bishop; and his brother Jerry Rasmussen.

He is survived by: his children, Wendy Michlig of Wyanet and Dan Rasmussen (Lynn) of Sheffield; his grandchildren, Amanda Hulscher (Chris) and Joey Michlig; his grandson-in-law Adam Bishop; his great grandchildren, Alex Hulscher, Eva Hulscher, Bella Hulscher, Tyler Michlig, Abby Michlig and Teddy Bishop; and his brother Glenn Rasmussen (Dean Rasmussen) of Manlius. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
