He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Ronald Childers and Vannie Childers (Swanson); his wife Joanna Snell; his children, Kristin Childers-Tammen (Matthew) of Braidwood and Ryan Childers (Kayti) of Chicago; his granddaughters, Violet Corron and Rosalee Tammen; and his brothers, Rand Childers (Dina) of Dixon, Russell Childers (Jenifer) of Dixon and Mike McVey. He was also cherished by many nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.
