He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas J. Strawbridge and Ella Strawbridge (Squire); and his wife Wanda L. Ripper. He is survived by: his daughter Tami Brutlag (Steven Zawoysky); and his grandson Jacob Brutlag of Alpharetta, Georgia..
