It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Steven Wilson of Manito, Illinois, born in Pekin, Illinois, who passed away on July 20, 2024, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Dewey Jefferson and Betty Charlene Wilson (Simcox); his siblings, Michael Dean Wilson and Christy Sue Henninger; his nephew Michael Henninger; and his nieces, Mary Beth Peplow and Heather Henninger.
He is survived by: his children, Judy McKinney of Bloomington, Gina Oest (Tom) of Manito and Bob McKinney (Shelly) of Pekin; his grandchildren, Kelsey McKinney Tyler (Brandon) of Chicago, Jake Oest (Cassie Wertzler) of Morton and Jared Oest of Manito; his sister Bonnie Peplow (Daniel) of Manito; his brother-in-law David Henninger of Manito; his nephew Cary Peplow (Carrie) of Tremont; and his great-nephews, Nick Peplow (Megan) of Manito and Nate Peplow (McKayla) of Mackinaw.
