It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Roger Dean Laurent Sr. of Manito, Illinois, born in Pekin, Illinois, who passed away on April 7, 2022, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Eugene and Norma Jean Laurent (Rupp); and his son-in-law H. Daniel Willett. He is survived by: his wife Saundra L. Stovall; his children, Cristy Lane (Keith) of Green Valley, Roger Laurent, Jr. of Manito and Kimberly Abbott (Doug) of Manito; and his grandchildren, Lauren Mach (Chris) of Indianola, Selena Browning (Rick) of Orange, Kelson Willett of Oklahoma City, Patrick Laurent (Megan) of Topeka, Carly Haddock (Austin) of Pekin, Lainee Nickerson (Ben) of Manito, Michael Lane (Kelsi) of Manito and Michaela Abegg (Jordan) of Manito. He is also survived by fourteen great-grandchildren.
