With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Max H. Schimmelpfenning of Manito, Illinois, born in Mason, Illinois, who passed away on June 8, 2022 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Jake Schimmelpfenning; his siblings, Stella Lewis, Arthur and Frank Schimmelpfenning; and his siblings-in-law, Sue, Shirley, Bev Schimmelpfenning, Don Gascoigne and John Lewis.
He is survived by: his wife Donna A. Schimmelpfenning; his children, Kim Singley (Steve) of Manito, Tami Spraggs (Jerry) of Manito, Troy Schimmelpfenning (Jamie) of Pekin and Kyle Schimmelpfenning (Cheryl) of Pekin; and his siblings, Hazel Stansbury (Kenneth) of Tremont, Wilma Gascoigne of Amboy, John Schimmelpfenning of Effingham and Richard Schimmelpfenning of Manito. He is also survived by six grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
