He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel E. Meeker and Edith Whitaker Meeker; and his son Darrel. He is survived by: his son Dale Meeker (Marcia) of Manito; his grandchildren, Sherry Richardson (Mark), Mindy Wendling (Adam), Daniel Meeker (Amanda), Tammy Vogel (Bernie), Christina Wiley (Gerome), Shannon Green (Richard), Loren Meeker (Jessica) and Jared Meeker (Beth); his stepgrandchildren, Sarah Wheeler (Nathan), Katherine Imig and Andrew Imig (Elisabeth); and his brothers, Paul Meeker (Donna) and Clyde.
Memorials may be made to the Midwest Central Booster Club or to Mason City Area Nursing Home.
