The passing of Kathy S. Embree of Manito, Illinois, born in Pekin, Illinois leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on November 4, 2024 at the age of 71. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, William Rochester and Nelda Rochester (Bartels); and her siblings, Elanor Gosnell, Robert Dale Rochester, Ray Rochester and Ronald Rochester.

She is survived by: her husband Stanley C. Embree of Manito; her daughters, Betsy Rowe (Mike) of Pekin and Jessica Golden (Robbie) of Manito; her grandchildren, Breckin Guy, Sean Guy, Baily Golden (Cass), Sidney Golden, Madison Vannaken (Brady) and Ethan Golden; her great grandchildren, Cammie and Bash Golden; and her brother Larry Rochester (Cheryl) of Marquette Heights.

Visitation was held on Sunday, November 10th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and on Monday, November 11th 2024 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM. A funeral service was held on Monday, November 11th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the St. Pauls Lutheran Church (21819 N Co Rd 3300 E, Manito, IL 61546).

Memorial donations may be made in Kathy's name to St. Jude Children's Hospital or St. Paul's Lutheran Church for Seminary Scholarships.
