With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Karen L. Tharp of Manito, Illinois, who passed away on May 11, 2022 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Kenneth G. Johnson and Hazel M. Johnson (Jefford); her children, Bradley Duane Tharp and Terri Lynn Tharp; and her grandchildren, Timothy Ellison, Jr. and Christina Tharp.
She is survived by: her husband Randolph Duane "Randy" Tharp; her children, Lance Tharp (Denise) of Bartonville, Victoria Worsham (Pastor John) of Pekin, Rene Ellison (Pastor Tim) of Pekin and Kathy Crosswhite (Pastor Donnie) of Alma, Arkansas; her daughter-in-law Trena Tharp; and her grandchildren, Nicole Huddleston (Jason), Kristin Tharp (Shawn DePeugh), Stephanie Figerelli (Michael), Lindsey Hoffman (Josh), Bradley Tharp, II (Beth Randall), Misty Black (Rich), Sarah Barber (Andrew), Brenda Lowell (Jeff), Timothy Roller (Jessica), Joel Tharp (Kaitlyn Helmer), Joshua Worsham (Melinda), Jason Worsham (Danielle), Benjamin Ellison, Caleb Ellison, Bethany Crosswhite, Kayla Crosswhite, Jesse Crosswhite and Matthew Crosswhite. She is also survived by thirty-one great-grandchildren.
