With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ila E Koonce of Manito, Illinois, born in Harrisburg, Arkansas, who passed away on July 22, 2023 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James Forrest Scrape and Velma Lee Ross (Patterson); her husband Ronnie Jim Koonce Sr.; her daughter Priscilla Gaye Koonce; her stepfather John Patterson; and her siblings, Irene and Jack.
She is survived by: her children, Joseph Koonce, Celesta Davis (Kevin), Leslie Draper (Joseph), Holly Pogioli (Chris), Ronnie Koonce (Alice), Tiffani Koonce, Trevor Koonce (Marilee), Miracle Meskimen (Daniel) and Branden Koonce (Nancy); her sister Ida Mae Gomez of Phoenix, AZ; and her sister-in-law Norma Steele of Marissa, IL.. She is also survived by 20 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
