She was predeceased by: her father Virgil Shoemaker; her husband Charles W DeGroot; her children, Debbie Harris and Chuck DeGroot; her granddaughter Paula DeGroot; and her brothers, Eddie Shoemaker and Lee Shoemaker.
She is survived by: her granddaughter Angie L. Beal (Jeff Bedolli) of Cortez; her brother Alvin "Pete" Shoemaker (Ruth) of Bath; her half-siblings, Kenneth Shoemaker, Lily Mibbs, Ruth Richardson and Diane Lind; and her sisters-in-law, Marilyn Cotton and Shirley Shoemaker.
