We are sad to announce that on March 22, 2023 we had to say goodbye to Elmer Eugene Abbott Jr. of Manito, Illinois. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Eugene, Sr. and Katherine Abbott (Hilst); and his son Scott Abbott. He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth E. "Beth" Heinkel; his children, Steven Abbott (Tami) of Manito and Angela Grimm of Pekin; and his siblings, Betty Lipe (Melvin) of Carterville, Darlene Nichols of Jefferson City, Stella Leinweber (Russell) of Mason City, Rozella Abbott of Pekin and Leonard Abbott (Sharon) of Manito. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren.

Memorial contributions may be given to Tazewell Animal Protective Society, 100 Taps Lane, Pekin, IL 61554 or to Trinity Lutheran Church, 700 South 4th Street, Pekin, IL 61554.
