He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernard Herbig and Dorothy J. Herbig (Glass). He is survived by: his wife Connie Morris of Manito; his children, Gaige Herbig of Manito and Erin Herbig of Manito; his granddaughter Avalyn King; and his sister Tracy Ballard (Steve) of Arlington, TX.. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Memorial contributions may be made to the family to help with medical expenses.
