It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Anna K. Simmering of Manito, Illinois, born in Oglesby, Illinois, who passed away on October 26, 2021, at the age of 101, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, George Stuart and Anna Stuart (Curran); her former husband William Timinsky; her husband George Simmering; her son Kevin Scott Simmering; and her son-in-law Larry Derks.

She is survived by: her children, Patricia Timinsky-Derks of Schofield, Billie Jean Timinsky-Garman (Lee) of Manito, Kim Simmering (Patty Walker) of Edwardsville and Kent Simmering (Kathy) of Port Orchard, Washington; and her grandchildren, Jamie Vance, Janelle Silberberg, Rene Braun, Michelle Kuhn, Brad Derks and Mark Derks. She is also survived by eighteen great-grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren.

Memorial contributions may be made to 1st United Methodist Church.
