He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Sangmeister and Marie Sangmeister; his father-in-law Ron Eisenbarth; his nephew Todd Brandau; and his brother-in-law Arthur Brandau (Mick).
He is survived by: his wife Tammy Sangmeister; his siblings, Jeanette Brandau, Arlene Sangmeister, Marilyn Mills (Dale) and Ralph Sangmeister (Linda); his mother-in-law Barb Lichter; his siblings-in-law, Joe Eisenbarth (Bea), Douglas Eisenbarth, Angela Sackfield, Amy Pagan (Mike), Sherri Eisenbarth, Tricia McConnell (Dan) and Chris Brandenberg (Tony); and his nieces and nephews, Barry Brandau, Jeff Brandau (Dana), Corey Brandau (Amy), Brian Sangmeister (Marisa), Melissa Fernandez, Michelle Aguilar, Patrick Eisenbarth, Sarah Eisenbarth, Britni Foley, Abby Lavendar, Tanner McConnell, Sean McConnell and Ryan Eisenbarth.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, Manhattan American Legion Post 935, and Edward Hines Jr. VA Hospital would be most appreciated.
