He is survived by: his wife Nancy; his children, James Ryan and Thomas Ryan (Maggie); his grandchildren, Emma Ryan and Thomas Ryan; his sisters, Maureen Portal (late Tim) and Patricia Holland (Bill); and his brother-in-law Thomas Kane (Lisa). He is also survived by nieces and nephews and his granddog.
