He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Eugene, Maryann Anderson, Marvin and Patricia Bettenhausen; his father-in-law Bruce Handorf; and his extended family Eugene Handorf.
He is survived by: his wife Sarah Bettenhausen; his children, Daphne, Jeffrey Jr. "J. R." and Leonidas "Leo"; his parents, Duane Bettenhausen and Jeannette Bettenhausen; his brother Christopher Bettenhausen; his mother-in-law Patti Handorf; his sisters-in-law, Brandi Geiss (Eli) and Andrea Handorf (Ryan Burns); his nieces and nephews, Dylan, Duncan Bettenhausen, Julianna Handorf, Evan, Emily, Veronica Geiss, Brody and Mason Burns; and his pets, Hank, Teddy, Sammy and Brutis. He is also survived by numerous aunts and uncles, nieces, nephews and friends.
