He was predeceased by: his wife Eula Rose; his daughter Nancy L. Snyder; and his grandsons, Geoffrey and James. He is survived by: his children, Jane Stacey (Bob), Sarah Boughton, Patricia "Kay" Rose, Connie Schuler (Bob), James C. Rose Jr. (Cindy), Jeffrey "Scott" Rose (Michelle), Eula B. Rose and Christopher Rose (Louise). He is also survived by 27 grandchildren; 44 great grandchildren.
