It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Helen Marie Dunne (Manhattan, Illinois), born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on November 11, 2024, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, James McTighe and Dorothy McTighe; her siblings, James T. McTighe Jr., Patricia Rossiter, Kathleen Heinemann and Margaret Beristain; her brother-in-law Gary Dunne; and her nieces and nephews, Regina Jendreg, Ashley Grajek, Daniel Rossiter, Nicholas Tighe Beristain and Thomas McTighe.
She is survived by: her husband Philip Dunne Sr.; her children, Philip Dunne Jr. (Cheryl), Bryant Dunne (Melissa), Matthew Dunne (Jamie Lynn) and Amanda Shannon (Michael); her grandchildren, Tyler, Layna, Gabriel, Rachel, Haylee, Sarah, Elijah, Johnathan and Levi; her siblings, Dollu Glaser (Charlie), Thomas McTighe and Maureen Schiesser (Dennis); and her siblings-in-law, Gene Dunne (Eileen), Sheila Dunne and Barbara McTighe Wydra.
Visitation was held on Sunday, November 17th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Forsythe Gould Funeral Home (507 S State St, Manhattan, IL 60442). A funeral service was held on Monday, November 18th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location.
