She was predeceased by: her parents, Eugene Mooney and Mary Mooney; and her husband Roland. She is survived by: her sons, John H. Nylen (Donna), Edward R. Nylen (Deborah) and Steven J. Nylen (Dana); her grandchildren, Kevin (Kelli), Michael, Steven Jr. and Kelly; her great grandchildren, Alexa and Logan; her sister Claire Coghlan (late Malachy); and her sister-in-law Helen Mooney (late Eugene). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In Lieu of flowers, memorials in Germaine's name to Joliet Area Community Hospice, 250 Water Stone Circle, Joliet, IL 60431 would be most appreciated.
