Elizabeth L. Serne Obituary
We are sad to announce that on December 10, 2022, at the age of 86, Elizabeth L. Serne (Manhattan, Illinois) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband William J. Serne; her parents, Wilbert Scharlau and Irene Scharlau; and her siblings, Margaret Ott and Norman Scharlau.
She is survived by: her daughters, Suzanne Klein (Robert), Amy Nudi (Edward) and Eileen Hansen; her grandchildren, Christopher (Katherine), Nicholas, Jonathan, Kyle (Priscilla), Justin, Michael, James, Scott, Sydney, Taylor and Samantha; and her sister Naomi Fell. She is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Elizabeth's name to the Children's Garden in Elwood would be most appreciated.
