He was predeceased by: his parents, Guy Esposito and Mary Esposito (Joyce Marie Esposito); and his son Donald Anthony Esposito. He is survived by: his children, Mary Elizabeth Esposito, Christine Esposito, Matthew Esposito, Catherine Vitton (Christopher), John Esposito (Kathy), Karen Levi (Ken) and Mark Esposito (Tracy); his grandchildren, Amanda Pirtle, Lauren Pirtle, Ronnie Hauhe, Nicholas Pecoraro, Patrick Potter, Genevieve Esposito, Hannah Vitton, Dominic Vitton, Cameron Vitton, Sgt. Joshua Esposito, Jordan Esposito, Kaitlyn Bartczak (Steven), Kassidy Ringo, Austin Orvis, Shae Orvis, Jackson Esposito and Jonah Kreinberg; his great grandchildren, Scarlett Kreinberg, Chelsea Bartczak and Paisley Bartczak; and his siblings, Eugene Esposito (Helen), Carol Stang (John) and Robert Esposito (Linda). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
