It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Daniel W. Thorpe of Manhattan, Illinois, who passed away on November 26, 2022, at the age of 35, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Patricia, Robert Miller, Lorelei and Robert Thorpe; and his stepgrandfather Gary Bilek.

He is survived by: his parents, Kelly Bilek (Bob) and William Thorpe (Mary); his siblings, Bill Thorpe (Dana), Alex Thorpe (Monika), Nick Thorpe (Ashley), Jacob Bilek, Hannah Bilek and Colleen Gottardo (Ryan); his nieces and nephews, Dylan, Tristan, Nolan, Konrad, Henry, Harper, Evan, Stella and Emilia; his stepgrandmother Janice Bilek; and his godmother Apryl Keesling.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Daniel's name may be made by mail to the Manhattan Food Pantry, 230 Wabash St., Manhattan, IL 60442.
