It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Daniel K. McInerney (Manhattan, Illinois), who passed away on July 20, 2021, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, James McInerney and Helen McInerney; and his brothers, Michael, James and Ray McInerney.

He is survived by: his wife Gail; his children, Sheree Surdey (John), Steven Peterson (Malissa Jensen), James Peterson (Kelly) and Charlene Peterson (Michael Flanagan); his grandchildren, Charles Surdey, Stephanie Orvis (Mike), Melissa Troescher (Michael) and Michelle Peterson (Daniel Francis); his great grandchild Elias Orvis; his close friend Raven; and his pet Nala. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins.
