He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Robinson and Olive Robinson; and his brother-in-law Cliff Ferrin. He is survived by: his wife Donna; his children, Bruce Jr. Robinson (Jenny) and Tricia Robinson-Hjort (Josh); his grandsons, Blake Robinson and Joshua Hjort; his siblings, Marilyn Ferrin, Thomas Robinson (Cindy) and Diane Watson (Jeff); and his pets, Hairyit, Tink, Ty, Smokey, Cory and Ziggy. He is also survived by son numerous nieces and nephews.

Interment with full military honors will take place at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, Elwood, IL at 12:30 P.M. In lieu of flowers, memorials in Bruce's name to Wounded Warriors at http://www.supportwoundedwarriorproject.org.
