She was predeceased by: her parents, Francis Walsh and Evelyn Walsh; her brother-in-law John O'Neil; her niece Jennifer Walsh; and also, Marvin Flatt and Margaret Flatt.
She is survived by: her husband Marlin Flatt; her children, Connie Koehn (Doug) of Mt, Joseph Flatt of Wilmington and Judy Tierney (Larry) of Peotone; her siblings, Jim Walsh (Kathleen), Carol O'Connor, Danny Walsh (Wendy), Mary O'Neil and Cathy Davis (Tom); her aunt Gerry Schultz; her grandchildren, Michele Koehn, Stephen Koehn (Stephanie), Jackie King, Megan Flatt (Becca West), Emily Tierney and Sarah Tierney; and her sisters-in-law, Donna Chellios (Bill) and Marian Edmonson (Bob). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in Barbara's name to Elim Christian School, Palos Heights would be most appreciated.
