She was predeceased by: her husband Jack Newton; her parents, Dwight Nicholson and Jessie Nicholson; her daughter Terri Newton; and her siblings, Lois Robinson and Bob Nicholson.
She is survived by: her sons, Tom Newton (Cherie) and Bob Newton (Sue); her grandsons, Justin, Jason, Nick (Nicole Carlson), Jack (Claudia Olech) and Ben Newton; and her siblings, Jim (Janie), John Nicholson (Nancy) and Linda Fekken (Nick). She is also survived by numerous loving nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Forsythe Gould Funeral Home (507 S State St, Manhattan, IL 60442). A funeral service was held on Sunday, February 16th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations sent by mail in Audrey's name to Victory Reins Therapeutic Riding Center, 11900 W. Offner Road, Peotone, Illinois 60468, would be deeply appreciated.
