He was predeceased by: his parents, Vern E. Drake and Norma Jean Wright Drake; and his siblings, Verna Jean Drake and Rod Drake. He is survived by: his wife Linda Kay O'Dell; his children, Timothy Drake (Melinda) of Winchester and Holly Gray (Michael) of Roodhouse; his grandchildren, Kaitlyn and Hunter Drake; and his sisters, Connie Ford of Manchester and Bonita Edwards (Richard).
