It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Leonard Nelson of Malta, Illinois, born in DeKalb, Illinois, who passed away on July 31, 2020, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred Nelson and Goldie Nelson (Lucas); his wife Vivian Willrett; his daughter Marlene Fariss; and his brothers, LeRoy Nelson and Kenneth Nelson.
He is survived by: his daughters, Sheilah Kyburz (Paul) of Bloomington and Juanita Milton (Lance) of Lindenwood; his son-in-law John Fariss; his grandchildren, Shondra Ruff (Mike), Kara Bancks (Jacob), Alicia Milton and Conrad Milton; and his sister-in-law Irene. He is also survived by nine great-grandchildren.
