He is survived by: his wife Doris; his children, Herbert Kaelin (Julia) of West Brooklyn, James, Scott, Karl Kaelin of Rochelle, Sally Mullis (Tom) of DeKalb and Russell Kaelin (Sara) of Malta; and also, Jim and Doris M. Buhr.
