It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Wesley Potter of Malden, Illinois, who passed away on May 19, 2024, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Dr. John Potter and Dorothy L Reich Potter; and his wife Jewell Dye Potter. He is survived by: his daughters, Kathy Mosbacher (Tim) and Kris Waage (Bill); his siblings, Bill Potter and Jane Ogilvie (Nick); his grandchildren, Matt, Rachelle, Kurt, Ryan, Kelsey and Anna; and his great grandchildren, Angel, Rick, Elijah, Forrest, Momiji, Kaede and Stavros. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, the family asked that any donations or memorials be given to his local American Legion in Princeton, IL, 1549 W Peru Street.
