He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl "Vern" LaVern and Ruth Emma Thompson (Hemken). He is survived by: his wife Tammy Thompson; his children, Chad Thompson (Shannon), Karla Johnson, Melissa Carrie (Gene), Sean Odell (Emily), Brett Klinefelter (Dava), Kaleb Klinefelter and Kyle Odell (Brittany); his siblings, Debbie Moreland, Mark Thompson (Caroline) and Tony Thompson (Chris); and his close friends, Bob Lucas (Betsy) and Gary Noonan. He is also survived by 20 grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, April 19th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM at the New Hope Church of the Nazarene (30 N 6th St, Princeton, IL 61356).
